Broken Springs

Torsion springs for garage doors have an average life span of 8-12 years depending on the use of your door.  some larger doors have two springs in the counterbalance assembly - If you experience a broken spring, you may want to consider replacing both at the same time...when one breaks, the other isnt far behind.  Purchasing the second spring and having it installed at the same time will drastically save you money rather than having a service technitian visit you twice within the same year or two!

Give us a call if you have noticed that your spring needs to be replaced.  Dont let your garage door opener work harder than it was designed to do!
